Was there ever a time to truly take the young man seriously? Absolutely. Every word, no matter how seemingly absurd or insignificant, was carefully calculated and composed to the crimson dotted i. While many may pass off the Nobody as nothing more than a trickster, it was when they decided to turn their back that his true colors were shown. A puppeteer of the highest caliber, many were not often aware that he held their strings until he was already setting them aflame.
“Did you really think that I would dance about the town and not gather a following behind me?”
It was a small order to infiltrate the ranks of these silly little fools and behind them to his will, forging bonds through false smiles and honeyed words that dripped with malevolent poison. There were already quite a few ready and willing to join his cause, though by the time he was through most of this town would be bowing to his whim.
“Hidan is a work in progress, I suppose I’ll need to visit with him after this. Aijimu, the one with the screws, is another. Those show the most promise, at present. The rest are nothing more than muscle, flash and show to be used for our more destructive desires.”
There was a particular lingering on that word, as his lips pulled into a smile at a joke that seemed to be at Saix’s expense. Perhaps it had something do with his friend and his inclination towards the full moon, hmm?
“You seem to be forgetting something, friend. That Keyblade Master and his friends are here. We can’t move as easily as we would like. Wouldn’t it be better to use these expendables, while we traverse the darkness?”
If there were any emotions to reflect at the moment, there would be an irritated tone coming from the berserker as he questioned his partner. Though he was competent as of late, acting on his own could have broken any chance of using the most valuable of tools. Except this time would prove to prosperous. What an odd outcome this turned out to be? Something useful had been done without an order, from Saix himself. Perhaps Axel’s determination to fulfill their promise would finally show light.
“Your attempt at a joke there was rather tasteless, Axel.” A pause… “You were serious? Hm, my mistake.” he said, as he took the question rhetorically.
Then again, simply hearing it out of the joker’s mouth was one thing. Depending on his words and truthfulness, only time may tell if he had pulled any needles from the haystack, so to speak. Bonds with outsiders were needed to build a climax for their plans, yes. However, were they as submissive as he claimed?
“Muscle is the least of our worries. What we need are brainless baboons that will crumple to our every whim. That slight remark towards destructive desires was another failure. You’re losing it, Axel.” Though faint, that last line may or may not have been a joke of his own.
“As you seem to forget that those pests are nothing more than useless here. They seem to have fallen from their previous point in power. They are too bust chasing after one another with intentions of intercourse. While the current keyblade master is now running about with a halloween getup. Disgusting, really. Nothing to worry about.”
“A woman by the name of Juri has apparently become aware of our plans. She has been watching from afar with earner eyes. Watch her. Find her motive. If she is seems just a tad bit suspicious, then her existence my be put to an end.”
“See to it that you leave. My patience has run dry with the likes of you. If you wish to never breathe again, I suggest you rid yourself from my sight. If you’re to slow to understand my words… I’ll kill you.”
